Moore’s Pilots & Permits Service Group, Inc. is unlike most other dot truck pilot or permit companies because it is ran by a retired Marine that has been piloting over-dimensional loads himself for over 15 years. Being a pilot/escort, Dan understands the need for highly trained pilots/escorts that are completely dedicated to the safety of the over-dimensional loads, its drivers and the general public. This is the reason that all our pilots/escorts are highly trained and certified plus insured they have been either hand picked Dan or come highly recommended by an over-dimensional driver. The Permit Division was started in 2007 because Dan as a pilot and on the road all the time learned the need for accurate and timely permits to ensure that the over-dimensional load is delivered on time and without unexpected routing problems due to a poor permit service. This is the reason why all of our permit writer here at Moore’s Pilots & Permits Service Group Inc. was hand picked and has either several years as permit writers or have been associated with the trucking industry for several years. Moore’s Pilots & Permits Service Group Inc, over the years has either or both piloted/escorted and written permits for over-dimensional loads ranging from simple over width loads around the block to loads exciding over 500,000 lbs 20 ft wide and over 256 feet long from San Diego, Ca to Nashville Tenn plus several other over-dimensional loads from coast to coast. We have also been involved in the planning and moving of everything from over width or over weight pieces of flat steel to tires, pools, mobile/modular homes, construction equipment, train cars, million dollars yachts, several types of intact aircrafts and even the fuel cells for NASA and the space programs. Here at Moore’s Pilots & Permits Service Group Inc, we believe customer service is our main and most important job and we treat each of our customers as if they are our only one no matter how big or small a company they are.
